Hawksford is organising a seminar with King & Wood Mallesons: Retail Trends and Challenges in China

According to eMarketer’s report as of June 2019, China is by far the largest e-commerce market in the world — more than three times the size of the US e-commerce market. Given its great potential in terms of population, consumer power and economic growth, China is becoming the central of global retail industry.

Challenges come along with the rapid development of China’s retail market. Apart from traditional issues for luxury brands like anti-bribery, licensing, joint venture investment and intellectual property rights, cross-border e-commerce is also becoming an inevitable challenge for modern retail development. The global growing trend of e-commerce is the major driver of China’s retail industry, accounting for almost 20% of the country’s total retail sales in 2018.

How to tackle these challenges? In this seminar, Hawksford and King & Wood Mallesons will share their insights, solutions and case studies. You will be updated with the latest regulations and laws related to the retail business, understand the current trends and challenges and find the best practice for your business in China.
